Why this course

What makes these courses different?

This isn't another AI webinar. Most "AI training" is a recorded video, a slide deck, or a chatbot pretending to teach you. This is our experts, live, in the room (or on the call), building and explaining things with you in real time. You leave with a strategy, next steps, the right tools and the right methods to grow your business.

Truly for beginners

If you've ever felt AI wasn't for people like you, it doesn't belong in this course. Everything is in plain English, aimed at someone who's never touched AI before.

A plan, not just a session

You don't just leave with 'that was interesting.' You leave with a personal 30 day action plan: the three things to try first, so it actually sticks.

Proven with businesses like yours

Shops, tradespeople, consultants, hospitality, insurance, travel. James has run this with real south coast businesses, not just tech companies.

Live and personal

Small groups, real business examples, and tools you'll actually use tomorrow morning. No pre-recorded videos, no chatbot avatars.

What you'll leave with

Concrete outcomes you can put to work in your business the very next day.

  • A clear AI strategy

A simple, jargon-free plan showing where AI fits in your business and where it will pay back fastest.

  • Your next steps

A prioritised 30-day action list — the three things to do first, in the right order, so momentum sticks.

  • The right tools

A shortlist of the AI tools that actually suit your business (and the ones to ignore), with logins set up and tested.

  • The right methods

Proven prompts, workflows and templates you can reuse for sales, marketing, admin and customer service.

Course outline

What your 2 hours look like.

A clear, hour-by-hour view of everything we cover. Every section is hands-on, so you leave with real work already done.

  1. 010:00 – 0:20

    AI in plain English

What AI actually is, what it isn't, and why it suddenly matters for small businesses. No jargon, no hype.

  2. 020:20 – 0:45

The 4 tools worth your time

A tour of Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity and one surprise tool. What each is good at, and when to reach for which.

  3. 030:45 – 1:10

More customers: sales & marketing with AI

Find new leads, sharpen your offer, draft emails, quotes and social posts in minutes. Practised on real examples from your business.

  4. 041:10 – 1:30

    Cutting admin & managing finances

Summarising meetings, tidying spreadsheets, chasing invoices, understanding your numbers. Small wins that add up to 5+ hours a week.

  5. 051:30 – 1:50

Spotting where you can profit more

Use AI to look across your business and highlight the products, services and customers making you real money, and the ones quietly costing you.

  6. 061:50 – 2:00

Safe use & your 30-day action plan

Simple rules for customer data and privacy, then a personal plan of the three things to try first so it actually sticks.
