1. Who we are

These Terms are between you and River Consulting Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as The AI Mentor ("we", "us", "our"). 2. Acceptance

By booking a course, attending a session, or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you are booking on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

3. What we provide

We provide live, instructor-led training courses on the practical use of artificial intelligence in small businesses and leadership teams. Courses may be delivered onsite in Chichester, online via Zoom, or at your offices, as described at the point of booking. Course materials, recordings, and downloads are provided for your personal or internal business use only.

4. Payment and billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellations and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms. All prices are shown excluding VAT; VAT is added at checkout where applicable.

5. Bookings, rescheduling and cancellations

Seats are limited and allocated on payment. If you cannot attend, contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to move you to another cohort at no extra cost. We may reschedule or cancel a session (for example due to illness or insufficient attendance); in that case you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

6. Refunds

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use our courses or website for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
• disrupt, scrape, probe or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
• upload malware or misuse any AI tools introduced during a session.

8. AI, accuracy and responsible use

Our courses teach you how to use generative AI tools. Outputs from AI tools can be inaccurate, biased or out of date. You are responsible for the prompts you enter, for verifying the accuracy of any output before relying on it, and for ensuring you have the rights to any content you provide as input. Nothing shared in the course is regulated financial, legal, tax, medical or other professional advice.

9. Intellectual property

All course materials, slides, workbooks, recordings and branding remain our property or that of our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the materials within your own business. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly share or use the materials to train AI models.

10. Recordings

Online cohort sessions are recorded and shared with attendees of that cohort for personal review. By joining a live online session you consent to being recorded. If you do not wish to appear on the recording, keep your camera and microphone off.

11. Service level and warranties

We take reasonable care to deliver our courses professionally, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance of the website, online delivery platform, or third-party AI tools referenced during a session. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties are excluded.

12. Liability

Our aggregate liability to you in connection with any course or these Terms is limited to the fees you paid for that course in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to a course or the website if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or behave in a way that is unsafe, abusive or disruptive to other attendees.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page.
